The following letter may be printed to hand out to potential
donors who may be able to supply us with food, drinks, paper plates, cups, etc. (Simply left click
on the first word on the letter, below, and drag your cursor down to the last word of the potential donor
letter. Then copy and paste into an MS Word doc., then print it.)
It has our Non Profit Tax ID number so the person can
write off the expense. Print your name and contact tel. no. so the donor can contact you if
he needs to.
AFTER you receive a donation of product or cash, if the donor would like a tax
deduction donation, circle our Non-profit tax ID number contained in the letter.
Then on the top or bottom of the letter, WRITE:
Received from _________, the dollar amount of the donation
(e.g., donation of $ xx.00 worth of bottled water -- needs to be a reasonable value) on the letter and sign it,
with "per EHS C & S Booster Club" under your signature, and DATE it.
That should work for their tax deduction.

The Esperanza Cheer
& Song Booster Club is preparing to host our 10th annual USA Regional competition. This exciting event will be held Saturday, January 24th, 2009 in our Aztec Gymnasium at 1830 N. Kellogg Drive, Anaheim. Last year, we hosted 1500 participants and spectators and we are
expecting to match that number again in 2009.
Since we are a non-profit
organization, we rely on the generous support of friends, families and businesses in our community. We are seeking commitments at this time for food, hamburger patties, hot dogs, buns, fruit,
drinks, bottled water, paper goods and/or gift certificate donations that will help ensure a
successful event. We will need to provide our guests breakfast,
lunch and snacks, as well as hot and cold drinks.
This
competition is our biggest one-day fund-raising event. The proceeds will benefit
all 51 Cheerleaders and Songleaders on our Varsity and Junior Varsity squads. The
Aztec Cheer & Song squads continue to be successful and are defending 2007 USA Spirit National Champion titles.
Any support you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
For your convenience, our tax ID number is
Thank you in advance
for your support of our program!
