Sparkling Angel Charities (The Kelly Weaver Memorial Fund) This is the organization that brought 8 EKG machines to the EHS gym on May 17, 2007 to conduct free screening for our athletes. Parent Heart Watch This is a state-by-state network of parents and partners dedicated to reduce the often disastrous effects of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in children. Parent Heart Watch (PHW) enables information sharing, support networks, and the formulation of nationwide programs that meet our mission and vision objectives.

This organization is developing their "Make The Grade" Project. This program will assess schools across the country as to whether or not they are "Heart Safe" and have instituted an adequate emergency plan, including well trained staff and a sufficient number of adequately maintained automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), for anyone who may go into cardiac arrest at school.

Archives: Past Awards & Team Photos

Esperanza High School competes in the Advanced divisions with all their squads. The Varsity Cheer and Jr. Varsity Cheer squads are in the Small squad size. The Varsity Songleaders compete in the Large Song /Pom /Dance and Jazz divisions recently due to the size of the squad at 14 - 15 girls. In 2003 -04 when there were less songleaders, they competed in the Small size squads. The new Jr. Varsity Song squad with 9 members competes in the Small squad Advanced division. See the News Releases for the 2006 - 07 season to review the results of the 2006-2007 season.
